 Are these just these cutest little girls, all dressed up in their party dresses!

First this was to color up these little darlings, they are so petite my

clodhopper hands had a time coloring them lol!

Besides the Glitter tape and sequins I added glitter to their hair bows and their shoes.

A little dp and matting and a shimmery bow to finish it up!

I have made a little scene today. Pretty simple as you can see. 

Swishing on a little water color adding a sun and clouds and just about done. 

My little Chick is from a Stamp In up set my friend Martha sent me. 

I paper pieced it with a little scrap I had saved.

 The sentiment is cut from and old Provo Craft die.

FRIENDS OF FLOURISHES

Good Morning Ladies~~~ Today Toni has chosen Using Ribbon for the current FOF Challenge.

 I love using ribbon and this beauty I used is from the Flourishes Color Made Easy, Violet #47 Wide

. Check the beautiful selection the store has! I have used the mum from the

 Flowers of the Year #3 and the sentiment is from the Small Words Set.

 Im on a purple roll today but did make the flower contrasting in a peach color.

 The base was embossed and sanded to make it show up more.

 The fold instruction was on my desk but didnt say what it was called so Im clueless!

 My teammates have some clever uses of ribbon so check them out!

Im not sure if Gloria will be posting. There was a  fire in the apartment complex where

 they lived and they lost everything, just blessed to get out alive!

Tuesday Throwdown

Team B is up this week and our sponsor for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge is Joy Claire and tags or bookmarks are the order for this challenge.

They sent us a fun Oh So Ink Spots Set. I started out with a a Spellbinder Scalloped Pennant turned upside down to form a tag. I covered it with different Ink Spot stamps in green, aqua and periwinkle. The little square mat for the Joy Clair Stamp is cut from a Spellbinder die as is the image. I mades some little flowers and cut some leaves. Tucked in some cheesecloth around the little square and added the hand dyed ribbon. This was a fun tag and I like the way it turned out. These ink splotches are really cool but hard to see since most are covered up..

 I have used Birthday Pippin. This one is pretty bright,.I got carried away with the bold

 colors today lol. I need a couple kid cards so they will appreciate the brightness.

Good Morning Friends~~~ Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

 Here in the Southwest Summer is trying to come a little too early for me. 

We are already having weather in the low 90's. If this keeps up we will be in the 100's by April!!

 Not ready for the heat yet but enough whining lol!  

Today the Friends of Flourish Challenge is to make a Masculine Card. 

It is always a struggle for me, since Im a flower kind of gal. I used the cup from the 

Cuppa Java Set to make a simple card. I cut off some of the sentiments tha

t were with the cut to make it simple birthday card.My hubby drinks a Lot of coffee 

and his birthday is on the 15th so Ive got it covered. 

I used a piece of corrugated cardboard for  my background.

A bit of raffia tied with a button, quick sentiment and its done!

Blog Hop....DAY Two*****

 Today The Friends of Flourishes i Blog Hop is featuring the Set Small Words  and
The Endearing Rose Sets

The Small Words set has a variety of sentiments for all occasions.

 I swooshed on three colors let them run and puddle a bit for the background. 

I used a cog and wheel die cut then matted two of the sentiments to add two the card. 

This is a quick and easy way to make a card with out having

 to do any coloring! Give it a whirl....

The Endearing Rose Set has several image and I chose the bird one. After coloring and cutting it out I mounted in on the embossed over with some foam dots.
A lacy border and sentiment completes it. A great set for a quick card!

Our Tuesday Throwdown Challenge is "Things With Wings"

I used a Cherry Lynn die for my butterfly. An old piece of dp that seemed to pair with

 the Kraft paper. perfectly. Simple and quick. Hope you will join us this week!

Blog Hop....DAY ONE~~~

Friends of Flourish is having a Blog Hop today featuring the My Funny Valentine Set.and the Florentine Frame Set.

 My Funny Valentine has an image as well as several sentiments
but I just chose to use a couple of the sentiments

 on my bookmark. After cutting out the base with a color from the Azure Collection

 I added a piece of scrap dp and a little faux stitching. A couple layers of

  Spellbinder hearts from the Azure and Candy Pink Collection then white to add the sentiment.

  The second sentiment was cut out with another Spellbinder die.

 A button, sequins and ribbons make for a simple tag!

  The Florentine Frame Set is Such a pretty and Versatile Set you need to see all the

 ways my teamies used it. I actually made two different cards. One using embossing powders 

to make a faux metal background. Trying for a more masculine look I cut the frame

 in half and put it back together to make it smaller.

Using the same Florentine Frame set I did the second card to be more feminine.Embossing

and distressing plus adding some handmade flowers and leaves.

 I dont know if this cut has a name but its easy to cut the front diagonally and just 

add decorative papers or embossed papers. An image, a sprinkle of sequins and a
