I love old dressmaker forms and have quite a few stamps. I made some background paper and embossed it. Have to have some stitching on the card if you are using the dressmaker form right! Some dyed seam binding for ribbon and its ready to mail!!

Happy Monday Friends!!

 Its time for PIP Challenge #1927 today. Our Sponsor is Polkadoodle and I received

 the cutest little chicken image from them. I love chickens and I think this on is adorable

 wouldnt you agree?  I decided on a tag today to give to a friend who loves to read.

 Black polka dots remind me of chickens. I think because 

I used to have Plymouth Rocks. So added a little red ticking print to go 

with it my sweet chick and a red ribbon! Fast and easy.

  Our TT Challenge is an Anything Goes theme and we are being Sponsored Sweet n Sassy.  

They have a wonderful selection of Stamps and Digitals with many images and sentiments!!

 Check out their store. So truthfully my printer was on the fritz, - instead of printing I  had to draw

 one of the coneflowers from the Coneflower and Butterfly Set to add to my background.

 I drew the first one more to the center but I didnt get it right
so added the big cut out sentiment to cover it up and moved it up

 and left a bit.  I like the way it give a nice vintage look to the background.
A little handmade flower to add some colour.

Tuesday Throwdown

Today our sponsor for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge is Dr Digis. 

The theme is keep it simple!. I love the Harley Image that they gave me.

My hubby was delighted with his Fathers Day card. He was hurt 6 years ago,

 and has lived in terrible back pain since with Alzheimer starting the following year. 

 He hasnt ridden since so his Harley sits in the garage and he dreams

of ridding again but not going to happen. Its good to dream of

 though. His is Orange and black with flames,

 although I didnt make the flames he was happy with the orange.

 Since I live here in the Southwest desert and we have LOTS of 

sunshine and heat I decided to used the sentiment instead of an image.

 Using a little Sunshine die and some "sunny" papers I made 

a clean and simple card for this one.

I embossed half of my background and stitched the other half on added a die 

cut border and string bow to show off my cutie image!

I have used and old Palm Tree stamp and embossed it then bleached the inside

. I like the color it produced. The frame is from a Spellbinder Set.

 I used the coral color to constrast with the 

 browns and added some cute outs from old corner die I had.

PIP Challenge...

Today at Pammies Inky Pinkies we have a theme to follow. It is the 5th Monday so the Challenge theme is a CAS card. Boy those are the hardest for me. I am not a less is more kinda gal!!

 I used a partial image from a old rose stamp I had colored and cut out 

and added a sentiment. About as simple as I can get!

 I havent made flowers in quite a while so I made several

 and was pleased with how they turned out. I decided to used the creme colored one

 instead of one of the colored one I made.

 Its gong to a gal at church and she loves vintage and added some blue her favorite color.

They opened a Hobby Lobby about 18 miles us river from us and

I went there for time yesterday, oh what a treat, eye candy every where LOL!!

I did get some new papers and a couple inks to play with.
