MY daughter called today. Her husband got his orders and they will be off to kentucky. They are currently in Alabama so won't be such a long move. Nothing like the last one which was from Alaska to Alabama with a week old baby. Still a long way away from those grandbabies, was hoping they would be closer !!

I had fun making this card using a cute Penny Black image. The image only had two leaves on it so I cut out three more and added them for some dimension. After looking at it I think it would have looked better had I either put another layer under the image or shaded the edges.... next time. I thought that the saying seemed appropriate for the pic.

I made this card for the recent birthday of my niece. Was so busy trying to get the light right didn't get it centered in the pic. LOL

Our Ladies Ministry had a mini retreat a couple weeks ago and I wanted something fun to put the favors in. I had seen a paper purse like these and decided to experiment with paper flowers. They were a lot of fun to make and the ladies appreciated them.

Now that the temps are over 100 my trumpet vine is loving it and covered with the big clusters of orange trumpet flowers. The hummingbirds are stopping by often.
