Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge...

Sorry my post didnt go this am ..
Its that time again friends, a new Challenge!  This week we are doing a sketch

I have stitched on some pink Bazzil paper for my card base.
The edge was cut with a Stampin Up die.
I used a piece of striped scrap to cut the little flags to use as part of the sketch.
The sentiment is from the Rose Set.
I water colored one of the mum flowers from the Chrysanthemum Set.
Cut it out and added to my card
I dont have any of the faceted sequin everyone is using
so I added a few jewels for a little sparkle.
This is one of those simple cards, I love the mum and wanted it to be the focus.
Lots different ways you can used the sketch so hop over and join the fun~

Good Morning Friends

Today  Tuesday ThrowdownTeam B has and easy challenge, Anything Goes.
Our Sponsor this week is Craft Classes Online. You will want to go to their site and
check out all the GREAT classes they have available to help you with all
different aspects of paper crafting!
I have used an old Carol Wright Image called Hummingbird for my card today.
After water coloring it I added some blue chalk to the background. The black scalloped
edge is a die from Stampin UP and I used the die cut for the card edge and the
negative left over for the edge of the image that gives it a reverse circle.
The image is so pretty that there wasn't really any
need for much else on the card. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.
Stop by and join the fun since the theme is wide open!

Happy Saturday!!

For you all in the US this is Memorial Weekend  and Im sure lots of you
will be celebrating! Be safe, remember the reason we celebrate
this day and you hope enjoy your long weekend!
I'm very excited to have a extra day off to do some things that never seem to get
finished on the weekends.
Saturday also means time for a new
Challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends. This week the Challenge is 7 layers.
Wow 7 layers seems a lot especially for you CAS gals  but actually you would be
surprised how quickly you can add them up. My base is three layers, the matting is two,
the flower one and the sentiment one, Voila 7!
So I started with a piece of dp cut with a Stampin Up scalloped die
and added another thin strip of the cream to it. Embossed the aqua with a Dotted Swiss folder
and the base was done. I used a Spellbinder Label Twenty Two for the taupe and cream mats
. The flower is from one of the new Sets Gardenia, water colored and cut out.
The sentiment is from the Chrysanthemum Set and cut out with a Marvy punch.

Our Speedy Fox Challenge

for this Saturday is A background with inchies. Hope you all are enjoying good weather.
Here in the desert we got a wonderful little reprieve from the heat, it was only 69 yesterday
with a few drops of rain!! Today is gorgeous and only supposed to be 84. Okay Im getting
on to the Challenge, just excited about the cooling trend lol!!. I decided to go with just
one color and added a little shading to all the edges. After attaching them all to the
base I ran it thru with a embossing folder.Next I used a Spellbinder Doily Die to add
the border. The sentiment is from the FRIENDS SET and cut out with a Spellbinder.
The flowers are from the CONEFLOWER SET. I wanted some contrast
from the soft blue so went with the rusty tones for the flowers.
Cut then out attached and done!!

You have until next Friday to check out all the different ways my teammate
used the inchies and to stop over and join the Challenge!!

Team B's turn

Happy Tuesday to you all
. Today the new Challenge at Tuesday Throwdown is to
ADD A DOODLE. Our sponsor for this week is Doodle Pantry. The generously gave
each of my teammates their choice of an image to work with so we all have different
cards to share. You will want to visit their site and check out the great selection!
I know Im going to be buying there more often.

Mine set is called Lemons and Blueberries and since I loved both images
I made 2 cards using them. The first one used the Lemon image. I printed the image
three time slightly enlarging one, color and cut them out. I them layered them and
added to the Spellbinder Oval cut out. A little doodling around the edge and that was
finished. Using a couple diffeent scrap dps I stitched together  and cut a
little fishtail tab. After cutting I doodled a little and attached with the button.
The sentiment was also part of the set.

The second using Blueberries was cut, printed, colored and a little doodling added
. After stitching the dps together I embossed the center piece, doodled a bit and stitched on.
A  Martha Stewart Double Looped punch was used for the botton strip.
The sentiment was part of the set also cut with a Spellbinder and foam dotted on.
Actually the papers dont look so good here but in person the look really nice
together, the color and print blend nicely!

Come join in our Doodling Party this week and you could be the winner
of A Doodle Pantry image too!!
