is to make a never ending card. It look complicated but with Pat's step by step instructions it was easy. The part that was hardest was making decisions for continuity on all four pages.
Its pretty cool the way it folds into different pages. For the front side I used the Huge Blossoms Set and butterfly from the Today Tomorrow and Always Set I did emboss the butterfly and sentiments. The dp is a scrap piece that has some nice shimmer to it.
The next page uses the Dragonflies, and Dogwood Sets The Die cuts are from Spellbinder. There is a opps. My flowers were to big and peak over but they were glued down and didnt want to rib the paper so just left them.
The third page uses the the butterfly from the Glad Glads Set, big flowers from the Black Eyed Susan mini set and the small flowers from the Ivy and Blossoms Set.
The last page uses the Hummingbird from the Hum Along Set, notes from Just A Note and Welcome Poppies Set.The sentiments are from Dogwood Blossoms, Be A Showoff, Asian Delights and Welcome Poppies Sets.

Using Tissue Paper
is the Challenge this week at FOSTV. I had a home decor item that I was working on for this one but Life got in the way so I just made a card with tissue paper flower.
I stitched on the dp and then cut a burgandy piece with the Spellbinder Romantic Rectangle. The piece was also embossed. My friend Martha sent me this very cool die and this pink piece she sent along with it so I would know what it looked like. I have shortened it and covered the burgandy piece. The soft pink cardboard oval was cut from a recycled perfume bottle box and the sentiment added.Pretty simple.

distressed ink for mine and I dont know the name of the folder.I cut a
Spellbinder heart from the striped dp and and distressed a solid paper
for the sentiment. The white matt is a Spellbinder also. The
butterfly is a Cherry Lynn die.

Tuesday Throwdown Team B
Good Morning its TT Teams B's week. Our challenge is Winged Fairytales and
our sponsor is Meljen's Designs. Be sure to pop over and check out their wide
variety of images. I have used Firefly Fairy. She was colored her wings
glittered and the little firefly bottle was covered with Triple Thick. Also
added some dots of glitter to her dress edge, wings and
scattered around the background. She was
cut out with a Spellbinder and matted on the embossed purple. The
cardboard was also cut with a Spellbinder.
I made the
flower out of felt cutting with the
Spellbinder dies and then added some
microbeads to the center The sentiment was
cut with a couple SU punches Hope you will
join the fun today.

Friends of Speedy TV Challenge
is a Tent Card. Our new February Release includes a set called Fairies. Fairies always conjure up ideas of magical fairy dust, flitting about the flowers and their secret places in the garden so I ran with that idea. I stamped out two of the images and colored them, adding what else but fairy dust to their wings, then cut them out.
On the inside of the tent I created a scene using a dp from Once Upon A Time. Adding more glitter to it and enhancing the colors. I made grass and added the flowers and beads for the fairy to be walking thru.
For the front of the card I used a dp from the Collection. The flowers were glittered but very pale so I colored them all as well as adding colro to the rest to enhance it all, then cut out parts and added some to the top to perch the fairy upon and also to the bottom. The window was cut out with a Spellbinder Scalloped Oval. The flourishes are a MFT cut into pieces to form vines for the bottom and along the top to add the leaves to.The leaves also have som glitter added to them for more shimmer. It seems as if the one fairy is handing a flower to the other so I thought the sentiment was perfect for it. This sentiment is from the Today Tomorrow and Forever Set.The dimension doesnt really show very well in the pic but in person it along with all the glitter really makes for a fun card.

This weeks Tutorial Time
is brought to us by Lis. The technique is Faux Flowersoft. It was easy to do,
fun and you get great results with it. All you need is a sponge and a blender
and the patience to wait a little while, that was the hardest part.
While doing it I bought a package of different colored sponges
so I made the orange, yellow, purple, blue and green for
future use on flowers and whatever may need some texture..
You can find the Tutorial Here. I used mine for the centers of my dogwood
blossoms and I like how it really does look real. You have to give this one a try!
The base is a peach SU paper and the next layer is a piece of glassine paper
I used some inks on to distress. After stitching on I distressed the edges
some more. The next piece is a scrap I used. My image is from the
Dogwood Set, stamped and colored then cut with a Spellbinder
Romantic Rectangle. It was foam dotted on.The Birthday sentiment is
from the Today Tomorrow and Forever Set and cut

added the shimmery ribbon.

A color Challenge
Today Friend of Speedy TV is challenging you to use green and grey!
I only had one piece of grey so I wrestled a bit with finding a green to
blend with it. The springy green seemed to fit the bill. It was
a bit much so added a dark hunter piece to help tone it down a bit.
That was cut out with a Spellbinder Romantic Rectangle
and then I ran all of it thru the multi circle embossing folder.
Made the green a little easier on the eye lol! The hibiscus
flowers and hummer are from the Hum Along Set and
cut with a Spellbinder Rectangle with rounded corners.
I found a soft grey ribbon to add tied with the green
bottom. The grey border was cut with a PTI die.

way! Finally I taped the papers and that worked well! I used
SU Artichoke green then added Blush Peach for the second
olor. I used stamps from the Pussy Willows, Dogwood
and Today Tomorrow and Always Sets. After
stamping the sentiment I cut it out with a
Spellbinder Fancy Label and tied on with ribbon
dye with the Blush Peach. Stitched it onto the
base of Artichoke paper.

A BABY CARD~~~
That is the challenge this week at FOSTV. My niece Kait is my baby sisters youngest
and having her first baby in March so we are all Very excited!! This was perfect
timing to make her a card. We were all present for the ultra sound reveal to
find out the sex and its a girl, Emma Iris Lee Meehan will be her name. Her middle
names are after each of her grandmothers just like her mama. Her baby
shower is in three weeks and we will all be traveling to
Paso Robles to gather at my sisters to celebrate my
BILs birthday and attend the shower. We will have a fabulous
time as we always do when we go to her home!
This is a picture of Kait and Erik from this weekend.
She barely had a bump last time we saw her at the reveal!
Kait is an animal lover, she rescues everything and her home is full
of everthing from dogs, cats, chickens to horses.I was
actually going to use a horse on the card but just couldnt make
it look baby so went with the cute little bunny from the
Gardening Bunny Set.She likes to garden also so this was
. After coloring the image and attaching it to the
embossed checked dp I added a little white border cut with a SU scalloped
die. After adding the dotted strip it stitched was all together. The bordered
strip was added to the dotted piece and and another white scalloped piece
added to the bottom. I cut Emma's name out and added pearl dots to it.
I did mess up on the Welcome and didnt get it centered so just had to go
with it as is. The welcome is from the Fall Apples Set.
Stop by and show us your BABY card!
