 I am using an old Penny Black Pansy image. I stamped it twice and cut some out

 of the second  to pop dot up for extra dimension. Using some lace and dyed ribbon 

to give it a more vintage look. The edge was punched with a 

Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is mounted on a 

Spellbinder Fancy tag.

It is time for a new Stamp Challenge over at MFP!
 Its a color challange this week and the color is White!
You may use black and a small amount of one other color. I added a
 little grey for shading my flower and  green for the leaves. A embossed base
 and the one of the flowers from the Gardenia Set. The sentiment is from the
     Set and cut out with a Spellbinder tag die. Simple and quick.
The way I like it right now as there are not enough hours to go around.
My mom is still in rehab and it creates lots of demands
 on my time.This is a challenge indeed so take time

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge & Birthday Blog Hop

Today we are doing a double post....It is time for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge.

 I have used two of their Fruit Border images for my cards. I love these images!

The lemons I did in yellow and blue adding a dyed ribbon as you can see,

 distressing the edges both with ink and scuffing. The pears I used

 the pinks and greens with same distressing and sheer ribbon

MFP Stamps Challenge #25

Happy Saturday, its time for a new Challenge at Marks Finest Papers. 

 A Twisted Easel Card is the challenge this week. There is a tutorial here to

 show you how to do it. This is the first time for me but it was easy with
 the tutorial. I have used an image from the No Sour Grapes Set.Im not a
 wine drinker but I love grapes and cheese and  I
 really like this image, it just speaks to comfort to me for some reason.

 My card is simple not much embellishment, had lots
 of ideas but  because time is so short

 these days just happy to get it done!.We are having the
major plumbing issues that old houses seem to have and My mom is still in a

 rehab facility so I spend most my time after work there. Everything 
is in a uproar it seems...just gotta smile and keep on!

MFP Challange #23

Good Morning Friends, today the challenge at Mark's Finest Papers is a CAS card.

 I have used one of the images and sentiment from the Island Life Set. Colored it a bit with chalk

 and there you go. Not my fav for sure!

I have had several of you ask me about my mom. Thank you for your sweet inquiries, she is doing

 better but its a slow go! I spend lots of time commuting after work to see her. Sorry I haven't been

 around to comment much but there just are not enough hours to go around right now.
