 our Challenge Love Notes. After coloring my image I added some clear to

 the boots to give them some shine and paper pieced the umbrella.
. Pretty simple card, some embossing,

 matting, a ribbon and puffy heart for embellies.

Today is the fifth monday so we have a theme and its to CELEBRATE

. Our Sponsor is Sami Stamps. I am using the sweet image   to celebrate a new birth.

 For a friends first great grandchild . I cut the image out and  hung it with the ribbon.

 A little embossed border and rick rack for embellie.

CLEAN & SIMPLE #5

That is the theme that Toni has Chosen  CAS for todays Challenge at Friend of Flourishes.

 I always struggle with this one, a challenge indeed lol.

So I splashed on some watercolor and used the images from the  My Cup Runs Over Set.

I added a raised line on top and side.

Tuesday Throwdown

Our Tuesday Throwdown Challenge sponsor today is Bugaboo Stamps  

and I have used the Daisy Girl Image. The challenge is use your favorite medium.

 Mine is water color which I used on the background and the image.

 Although yellow is not in my fav list I seem to be

 using it a lot lately lol!  Splashed on a little water colors for the background then embossed.

 The yellow borders were cut with Spellbinder Dies.

 The fun image was mounted on the burlap along with the raffia and button.

 GREAT selection of images! After coloring this cutie I mounted it inside the 

card and cut out the peep hole for it.

 A few borders and sentiment and it ready to send.

#4 Friend of Flourishes

Shirley has chosen a great Challenge  for today It  is Love Makes the World Go Round!

 Come join us at Friend of Flourishes today! Love instead of hate...we sure  need more 

of that dont we!! So for my card I have used the Sentiment instead of an image.. No coloring

 how easy is that. I love polka dots and this isnt really a Valentine traditional  color but I like it.

 Just some layers, distressing and a few little flowers to dress it up a bit.My brown flowers

 dont show up but they really are pretty in person. I tried more light for them to show up

 but then everything else washed out so this is the best I could get. Voila there you go,

Friends of Flourish #3

Good Morning friends, today is out second Challenge at Friends of Flourishs.

Kren has chose our theme of Shimmer and Shine.The yellow was embossed with a swirls design

and glitter added to the swirls. The ribbon is also shimmery although a little

difficult to tell from the photo. The Camellia image comes from the Camellia Love Set.
The shimmer and shine doesnt show up much in my pic but it there!

Tuesday Throwdown

Are you all ready for a New Year...A new beginning?? Im certainly ready!
So for our TT Challenge today the theme is Winter Critters and our sponsor is Kitty Bee.
I using the adorable Penguin for my card! After coloring him I cut him out and mounted on
the red. The little penguin just begged me to pair him with the black so had to do it!
Simple little card today. Hope you all have a super week!

Pammie's Inky Pinkies #1701

Are you all ready for a new Challenge?

 We are very excited to announce our first challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge 

 It is an Anything Goes Challenge unless there is a fifth Monday and then it will be a theme.

There is an A & B team who will be alternating weeks.

The B team is very excited to be sponsored 

by MHK Design today.Im using their delightful Rooster and Hen image.        .

I used a few Copics and  water color pencils on my image. I love Chickens,

 they are real characters and when they are feel safe and are at peace they make 

the sweetest little cooing sounds. My oldest Chicken was 14 when she died and still laying.

 So all that to say I happily chose this image to color and used the colors of one of my old roosters.

I used a chicken wire embossing folder for the background

and a corrugated strip and button for embellie.
