Today Tuesday Throwdown is being sponsored by Sweet n Sassy!

 The have given us some fun images to work with. Im using the sweet Lilacs for Cocoa 

 image and our Challenge is Embossing. After coloring my image with colored pencils 

I cut it with a Spellbinder Scalloped Oval. I then mounted it on the oval die cut,

 I dont know who makes it. I then embossed the burgundy and added a

 bow and the sentiment. Viola its done!

Good Morning Friends

Today out Friends of Flourishes Challenge is all about Layers.. thats right the more the better! 

As you can see I didnt get to many on my card. I used one of the images from the

 Beautiful Endearing Roses Set.

 My leaves look a little chlorotic but I just didnt have the right green for

 rose leaves so chlorotic it it! A lttle embossing, a die cut and its a quick layered card. 

My life doesnt allow much time these days so quick is good..

Summer is here!

Here in the desert it is warming up quickly! Im already thinking about winter lol! 

It is an Anything Goes Challenge today at Friends Of Flourishes.

 I decided to do a Christmas Card. I love the Cardinal Image from the Winter Birds Set.

 I  started with a plaid and added the embossed corners and a few rows of scalloped border to

 go with the Cardinal. You all can join in the fun this week!

PIP CHALLENGE TIME>>>>>

Are you all ready for a new week?? I always look at it as a opportunity for a  new beginning!

 So for our PIP Challenge this week we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

 They generously supplied us with images. I am using the pocket of posies.

 I paper pieced the pocket and added it to the image, cut out with a Spellbinder die

 and popped dotted it on. A little embossed border and butterfly for embellie

 and its a quick card. Come join us this week its a

 Anything Goes Challenge so any project will work!

Good Morning Friends, today it is my turn to host the Friends of Flourishes Challenge. 

It is a color challenge and since green and purple are my favorite colors that is the 

Challenge for today!! I have used two of our new release stamps, from the Thistle Set

 and the Tartan Plaid. Your can find them and all the other released in stamps

 and digis, so check out the store here. Although it doesnt show I stitched the plaid piece

 onto embossed background. Colored and cut out my flowers ,

 added the bow and sentiment. I love this new Thistle set, it has some very pretty

 corner pieces too. Of course you can take liberties and color those thistles any

 color you like too!  My teammates have some very pretty

 inspiration for you too.

Friends of Flourishes Challenge

Good Morning Friends! Vickie is choosing our FOF Challenge today and it is to use Pastels.

 My card is pretty simple, with a couple layers stitched together.

My image is from our new releases which will be showcasing starting on Monday. 

The Spellbinder die has the ribbon woven thru the holes. 

 The beautiful silk ribbon is from the Flourishes Color made easy 

and the color is Celery.

After coloring and cutting it out I mounted it on the embossed aqua.
