This card is for the StampinSisters in Christ challenge. I did a birthday card for my daughter. Her name is Kelci thus the initial K. I used SU creme, black and pink card stock. I tea stained the creme card stock. I used black lace for the ribbon. The flourishes are glitzed up with black glitter however they don't show up very well in the photo. In person its very sparkly which I love!! The circle was put thru the cuttlebug to emboss it and some glitter added. The flower jewels add more sparkle and I used the morroco punch. . How we all need to remind ourselves God's plans for us are always good!!

This card was made for the crazy 4 challenges today. This is my very first challenge and I was so excited when I saw the challenge this morning I could hardly wait to get started. Between the routine Sat morn cleaning and laundry I worked on it. This is just sooooo much fun !!! After going thru my zillion stamps wouldn't you know it, I could not find a turtle to go with the dp so had to make do with a ladybug. I used colorbok solid colors and although it doesnt show I ran the purple thru the cuttlebug with a circular design. I used 4 little green floral brads to attach it to the scalloped base. The ladybugs were watercolored. The fun turtle print was from KP Kids&Co. The colors are a little brighter in person.

Its hard to think fall when here in the Mohave Desert it is still 104 degrees, but I did my best. This is the second and third challenge I've entered and I'm hooked !! I used the close to cocoa as the main card and added the pumpkin and ruby on each side with a zig zag stitch. I ran them thru the cuttlebug. I chose the swirl design becaue it reminded me of leaves swirling around. I used a dp in fall colors to mount the image on. I cut the corners to insert the SU pumpkin wagon stamped image onto it. I used water colors to color the image. I stamped and cut out the leaves on the dp and added a little wire curly Q. Punched the pumkin and ruby to mount the message and mounted it on a foam dots with a little hemp bow.

I'm pretty new to blogging. My friend Martha helped me get started. I received a email that there was a new challenge called Crazy 4 Challenges. This is the first time I've ever entered a challenge. What fun.....And here is it:
This card was made from colorbok purple, lavender and pink textured paper. The print is a Penny Black floral. I used a zig zag stitch to attach the print to the pink layer then attatched to the lavender. I ran the purple circle thru the cuttlebug for texture and added some ribbon on the diagonal. The cute Tilda with her bicycle was watercolored . I cut out a flower to add some dimension. The message is raised also. The edge is made with a Martha Stewart punch. Finished off with a sheer purple ribbon.

My Daughter and grandsons at the garden wall.
Another pic of the beach with all the driftwood.

My grandson playing beside the little stream and waterfall surrounded by all these pretty flowers.

Picture doesn't do justice to this beautiful bridge and the secnery.

A pic of the beach across the street from my daughters house. My grandsons and I went down to to beach hunting crabs and picking up shells and some pretty driftwoood for me to bring home. There was a big crane also hunting crabs if you look carefully you can see him in flight. Along the path down to the beach we picked a couple quarts of blackberries!! They were yummy. To bad they just started ripening the last 2 days I was there.
I was able to spend 9 days with my daughter and family who live on an island in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This was my first time there. It was very pretty but wouldn't you know they had record heat. They do not have cooling in homes there so it was rather toasty for a couple of days but the rest of the time it was still so much cooler than home. I just have to post a few pics.
