Good Morning~~
For our challenge at The Pixie Cottage this week we want to see something sweet. This was the perfect opportunity to make another page for one of my paper bag recipe albums. Decorating up each page makes using the yummy recipes lots of fun! First I made the blackberry border and then colored, cut and stickled others out to scatter around. I really like the bold dark purple base because it makes the white pop out Used some silver on the cupcake paper to look like the little aluminum ones you get.. Don't you just love that sweet little bear called Smiles and his cupcake by Alisa Ramirez?? Check him out -and many others at Michelles Scrappbooking & More. Now be sure to stop by and show us your SWEET creations!

My Pixie Cottage image is Stump & Bench by Sandra Hammer . It is such a versatile stamp that it can be combined with many others. My sweet teamie Cheryl sent me a whole package of Tildas so I used one to sit on the bench. A little three layer flower to set off the bow and is done. I cut two of the sentiment to create a shadow affect.

She sent us a fun package of goodies to create with. Pink the perfect color for Breast Cancer Awareness month.I used my dotted swiss folder for the white and lt pink.It doesnt really show but I used versamark to stamp the little flower stamp all over the dark pink. My wonderful sis gave me a little money for my anniversary and I used it toward a new nestie which I used to cut out my three beautiful printed squares. Also cut the sentiments with a nestie and punched the edges tied a ribbon, waala done!

This card is for the Verve WCME Sketch. This is pretty simple. Did a little crazy stitching and colored a little image of marigolds. The dp is a fall colored circular print from the brown sugar collection and the rest is from my scrap box.I used the circle embossing folder to mimic all the circles on the dp. Tied the tag on with some raffia.

Today at TUESDAY THROWDOWN our challenge is to use chipboard. If you dont have any it is easy to make your own by using several layers of cardboard from any boxes you might have emptied such as cereal, oatmeal, pasta etc.Mine is a Tim Holtz chipboard flourish that I did a little altering on painted, then added the glitter and jewels. I used the Verve WCMD sketch. I also used stickles on the pink dots. The image is a PSX Bleeding Heart water colored, cut out and then layered onto green and cut out again. I ran a pink ribbon down the center of the white sheer and tied my gate card closed with it. Now we want to see your chipboard creations!!
Also fits challenges:
Glitterbabe's: Embossing
Gingerloft: Glitter & Bling
Paper Sundaes: Something from your stash...my flourish

Tomorrow is my 13th Anniversary so I made this card for my husband using one of the Verve WCMD sketches. Lavender and aqua are his favorite colors so instead of a manly card I made this. He will like it because I made it for him whether its girly or manly. :) The image is probably more appropriate for a wedding card but I didnt have anything else that was romantic to use. It's a Pixie Cottage stamp by Artish. I computer generated my sentiment for the tag and tied it on with some hand dyed ribbon. I didnt have any small lace so the punched strip is faux lace. The flower is embossed with the dotted swiss folder and I dont know the name of the aqua embossing.
