Today Tuesday Throwdown has a great theme, spotlighting. I have never done this technique before. You can find the how to at Splitcoaststampers. My image is from Whimsy Stamps called rose butterfly . I punched the section and mounted on black and foam dotted on. I faux stitched around the image and added square brads to the corners and foam dotted onto the small checks. I also faux stitched the four squares with white and added the bow. The sentiment was also added to the bottom with foam dots. Also fits the following Challenges:
Stampavie and More: Black White & one color
Cute Card: Whateva
Funky Friday: Black & White
This is beautiful! Such a simply elegant card!
very pretty card thanks fro joining in!
Wonderful take on the spotlight technique. Usually they just have an image, but your layering and stitching really add so much. This is truly beautiful.
Love and hugs, Martha

Oh my Davi this is stunning I saw this in the DT line up on the challenge blog and fell in love with it. I love how you have spotlighted the rose and left the butterfly white as it works perfectly.
a wonderful butterfly-card with a fantastic spotlighting-idea!
