PIXIE COTTAGE CHALLENGE & PASSIONATELY ARTISTIC

Wednesday brings two challenges...First Pixie Cottage Challenge Big on
Birthdays and/or sketch I used another one of the fun South End Girls. Part of her
was water colored with the skirt paper pieced, stickled wings and the whole i
mage
cut out.She was foam mounted onto the two embossed mats cut out with
a Spellbinder die. I wanted to do the stitching in hot pink but of course wouldn't
you know I didn't have any. I live in a rural area and have to drive 30 minutes
to get things like thread so that wasn't happening!

Just did several meandering rounds with the white. Used a MS punched for
the three rows of border, a little ribbon and some pearls to finish it off. The
sentiment was punched and hung with a the bow. Lastly the flower was
made with several layers of clipped circles.

Supplies: SU & Cosmo Crickit papers, SU scalloped oval
punch Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Square, Cuttlebug Swirl
embossing folder, Stickles and misc pearls and ribbons.

Entering Challenges:
Squigglefly: Texture
Victorine Stamps: Birthdays
The Crafty Pad Designs: Cute N Girly
Craft Your Days Away: Birthdays
Just Some Lines: Embossing

Second Challenge is for Passionately Artistic with an Anything Goes theme.

Although my card is layered it is pretty C&S just the image and a ribbon.
My image is an old PSX Morning Glory botanical that I water colored. I cut
down the side with decorative scissors and inked the edge with blue.
Added the sentiment and mounted on the blue and then on a
scrap of blue print.
The team has lots of GREAT ideas and creations so be sure to stop by and
link up to the party! As always some great giveaways for the winners.

Entering Challenges:
Paper Creations Ink: Flowers
Pile it On: Three shades of blue

These are both so different but equally gorgeous. The first is so funky with the bright pink and green and the second is a little more laid back and chic. xxx
