FRIENDS OF SPEEDY TV CHALLENGE # 68

It's tax day, hopefully you already have yours done
.  So are you all ready for a new week?
Monday means its time for a new challenge at FOSTV and this week it to use Vellum.
Vellum is so versatile but I seem to forget all about it.
When my daughter lived in Alaska she took me to a little craft
store and I had bought a folder with 15 different colors of vellum.
You know one of the things you stash and then forget about  lol!!
So I dug it out to use for this challenge.
I started with two different peachy colored papers for my card.

Using the  Black Eyed Susans Mini Stamp Set I off stamped and stamped in a matching color on the paper to created a very pale print for the top
section. Using a coral Bazzill paper I cut out the little border with a SU die
and added the little lace trim.. The corners were also cut with
a little die but I don't know the maker.
The butterfly was cut out of a peach colored vellum using the Spellbinder butterfly die and embossed with a dotted swiss folder.

The rolled rose was cut out of coral vellum using the Spellbinder rolled rose die and green vellum for the leaves. Rolling it wasnt quite as easy as with paper. You really couldnt manipulate it like you can with paper so it is pretty much as it rolled. Added some green vellum leaves.

Using white vellum I cut the little pocket with two different Spellbinder dies.Added some white
dots and a button for some trim.
The tag was cut out,  a couple rows of trim added then stamped with the Black Eyed Susan.
The Thank You stamp is from the  Dogwood Blossoms Stamp Set. A little dyed ribbon
 to finish the tag.

Okay now its time for you all to grab some vellum and show us your creations.

This is the prize for this weeks Winner.

Davi - some gorgeous uses of vellum - sadly your butterfly is hard to see but the rose and little pocket are beautiful. Like you my vellum was hidden away! I think that little corner might be a Cuttlebug die. Enjoy your week.

This is beautiful, Davi. I LOVE the vellum rose but I can imagine it was hard rolling it. Your little pocket is darling, too. Great job with this challenge.
