TUTORIAL TIME WITH SPEEDY TV # 44

Time for another TTSTV Challenge..
Lagene has put together a Great tutorial on making a Double Twisted Easel card.
I have a upcoming luncheon so I used this opportunity to make
a little centerpiece to let the ladies know what the menu will
be. Here in the desert you garden differently, winter is when
you grow  greens, tomatoes etc., since its in the 90s now they are winding down. I am using the last of the garden bounty to prepare for this party. The flowers are all ablaze right now so I will be using them to
decorate. Over the years I have accumulated a LOT of different dishes and
accessories to fit different themes. I like to always have a theme in mind when I entertain
and this is going to be about the ladies and how each of them are special
and unique just like all the flowers!
I thought I would use flowers and fruits to decorate with....

. Using the basic twisted easel to decorate I computer
generated the menu and theme. After embossing the peach I added the green on one
side but it seemed to matchy to do it on both sides so used the doily for the other.
Mounted the theme on the green dp to tie the two sides together. The little
welcome sign is made from the Welcome Poppies Set.
The cherries, strawberries  and fruit bowl are
all from the Celebrate Big Set. The little dotted
border is from the Flap My Wattles Set, and the garden fresh stamped
over it is from the new Seed Packets Set as are the tomatoes.

After coloring all the images  I cut them out and made a
variety of flowers to go with them. The butterflies are from Cherry Lynn
and the peachy border on the bottom is a Spellbinder. I used a bottom for the stops
for each side and added a flower on top of each.
I like how the bold red, soft peach and green compliment one another, also
think the flowers and fruit work together to
make it fun and cheery.

The ladies have a Great variety of cards to inspire you.
With Lagene's tutorial it really is quite easy to make one, so stop over and give
it a try!!

What a totally awesome project, Davi. Very creative. Love the flowers. I can't imagine growing tomatoes in winter. Here, they are usually planted around the 15th of April and will be ripe around the 4th of July.
