Have you heard of this technique?? That is our Tutorial and challenge this week at TTSTV.
Our tutorial is brought to us this week by Cheryl Miller.
This is a long post full of pics....
The technique can be used so many ways. I raided my yard for the last
remnants of flowers as it is really heating up here
It was 115 degrees yesterday!
One of the fun things about this one is that the images do not always turn out the same
colors as they are in real life so its fun to see what you get!! After making a
variety of images I embossed some and cut some out to use in my
album. Each page uses a pounded image. The front was made with a gaillardia
which are not purple but thats what it came out as.
The smaller flower is from a Lantana that was yellow and red..
I ran thru the dotted swiss folder and stitched onto
the purple which was also embossed. Added a lattice border with a MS punch.
The lg daisy is a MFT die and the small one is a Marvy
punch. The sentiment from the Primitive Farm Set was stamped
on a Spellbinder fancy tag and tied on. The spine was cut with
a MS scallop punch.
This flower image came from the Potato Bush which are very purple but look
more blue, embossed and cut with a
more blue, embossed and cut with a
Spellbinder die. The sentiment comes from the Huge Blossoms Set.
A couple tags in the pocket.
This image is from the Plumbago embossed and cut out. The pocket and border
are Spellbinders as is the bird and decorative oval. This sentiment
is from the Birdcages Set.
This flower is from one I dont know the name of but it get little pink or lavender
trumpets on it and it loves the heat!.All Spellbinder dies from two sets. .
The sentiment is the Lantern Set.
This is another image using flowers from the Potato Bush. The pocket
is a Spellbinder as is the stitched on striped border.
The Sentiment is from the Island Life Set
This is another of the no name flower embossed and cut out. Cherry Lynn,
PTI and Spellbinder dies and stitching does this last page. The sentiment
if from the Be Wild & Free Set.
These are some of the tags I made for the pockets using leaves, potato plant,
bougainvillea, plumbago and lantana.
We all used different flowers as we are all in different locals so this make for interesting
results. Stop by and check out their creations and the tutorial you will
find interesting!! All the sentiments I have used you will
