Lily Boo: Mothers Day

I'm not sure if there is a name for this card. I started with two SU pink pirouette strips punched with MS loop. I cut another pink piece and rounded the corners and used a scalloped nestie to cut the pink arch. I Hand wrote my Mothers Day message and then used a music folder to emboss the arch. I used My Minds Eye papers, one striped and one dotted. They are cream with yellow and pink with a faint touch of green and aged. I cut a piece of the stripe for each of the side legs and sewed them on the front and inside also. Then I put a strip of pale pink lace down the center of each leg. I then cut the dotted paper piece with the label one nestie and attached it to the square pink piece then stamped it with a flourish, put a little stickles on it and then aged the edges. The vintage lady from a graphic 45. I used the striped paper to cut out and make a stool for her to sit on. I attached it with foam so that I could form the corners to create some dimension to it. I then sat her on it. I made one flower from the dotted paper and the other two from pink tissue paper. I added a pearl center to one and a glittered brad to another and to the last one I found the great gold flower button with the pearl center and sewed it onto the flower and then I looped some pink beads from the flower and also some punched MS leaves. I attached that to the punched piece and then to the corner of the image.
Next I had some pretty pale pink ribbon that I made a bow with and attached the smallest flower into the center and then attached it to the corner of the arch. I cut out two leaves shaded and shaped them to go behind the large printed flower and attached to the leg.

My Card is for Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge: Scripture from the wonderful story of Esther, 4:14 : Use a time piece or something denoting time
Just Us Girls Challenge: Use rasplberry, coral, chocolate and ivory
Creative Corner: A new technique

Creatalicious Challenge: A little something
Pixie Dust: Charmed

This past week held both tragedy and celebration. My friends brother was going to town and hit ice the car rolled and he was killed. Another friends daughter had her first baby this week. When I read the challenge I was thinking about the past week and how no matter what is going on God is in control so the scripture in Ecclesiastes seemed fitting. I cut the raspberry with the nestie and then ran it thru the cuttlebug with a dotted swiss folder. I used a stamp that has 3 time pieces on it and lightly stamped in over the scripture along with a flourish and added the key charm then mounted to raspberry. I added that key charm because God holds the key to time not we humans. I have never made a step card before and it sure took me some time to figure out those measurements! lol I used ivory and then added chocolate to each side after I ran thru the cuttlebug with the swirl folder, added the lace down the center and made the bow with a gold button in the center. Used the MS punch for the chocolate and mounted on the coral for the front fold. Added a chocolate embossed with the swirls on the second layer and coral which I also punched with the MS punch for the last layer. I made two flowers out of crepe paper which I colored and gathered. On the front one I added a clock as the center. On the second flower I added a coral punched flower center with a pearl and attached to the second layer.. I added several other time pieces and coral flowers with stickle centers.
