What is one your favorite things???

One of mine is flowers, real, fake, on fabric, prints, on dishes, paper doesnt matter
I just really love flowers!! So all that to say Im delighted with todays Challenge at FOSTV !
It is FLOWERS!! So jump in and show us your creations with flowers.I have made a
little hanging piece for my SIL's awesome craft room. She has been so gracious
to have us stay with her when my husband has to
go to the Workers Comp hearings and even drives us the
rest of the way from where she lives.

Started it with a piece of cardboard cut out with a Spellbinder Oval.
After a little distressing and tearing  as you can see in the above pic
I added a little paste with a small circle stencil.
The roses are cut with Spellbinder Itty Bitty dies and a
the large blue one with MFT Plentiful Petals.
The sentiment if from the  Huge Blossoms Set and cut out with a Spellbinder die and layered
onto the brown.  After coloring I cut out flower on the
side  from the Friends Set.    Also added a little flourish behind.
The flowers need a little fill around them and
the cheesecloth seemed to be the ticket. Some leaves and flourished cut
with MFT die finished filling in. I think that the
butterfly die is from Cherry Lynn.
In the pic the blue looks awfully bright in person its more muted!

We would love to have you join us this week and the winner takes home this set.

Everyone ready for FRIDAY???

Im always ready for Friday as it ends my work week!  It also means it time for a new Challenge over at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. This weeks Challenge at TTSTV is Masked Borders.! Barbie brought us the tutorial this week. I love this technique it has so many possibilities and it makes a Quick CAS card! We all ran different directions with this one so be sure to stop by and check out the other girls ideas!! This one was so quick and so much fun I made several cards.

This one is one layer with the diagonal flowers stamped twice the lines drawn and come coloring  Very quick. The Sentiment comes from the  Set.

I used the floral image from the Asian Delights Set, assuming they are cherry blossoms, but I wanted different colors!
This one was stamped, lines drawn and then
the embossing added to the top part. After the
embossing it was mounted onto a purple card.

The bottom one was stamped lines drawn and then
the simple scalloped embossed using a Stampin UP
border embossing folder.

You can see how quick and easy these make up.

This week winner will take home the Autumn Frienship Set.http://api.ning.com/files/4S4DUD84Vb5NY3SQCWDO0W-R1RgF4mnDg2BjjawD9UKWBE*Kjyeld0BSgsorlitjRGM2eK66RCTl2uUbak7dX*vv3xg1SGG5/AutumnFriendshipsMini.jpg

A new Monday Challenge

over at Friends of Speedy TV. The weeks is to decorate a gift bag.

. My friend Linda has retired after 26 years with the California Highway Patrol
and her retirement party was Saturday. I decorated this bag for her gift to take to the party.
We have been friends for 41 years and this was a special moment to be included as part
of her family at the party with all her peers. Both her sons were able to be there, one all
the way from Texas. Linda  received lots of recognition, certificates and awards for
 her exemplary service, very touching!
Using a premade gift bag I stitched on a piece of sparkly Bo Bunny dp with
a coordinating pink strip cut out with a Martha Stewart punch.Although it
doesn't show all the dots are glittered!! My friend Martha sent me some
Washi take and this piece seemed to be a fun match. The center was
cut out with a Spellbinder
Opulent Ovals and stamped with sentiments from
the Be Wild & Free Set,  Celebrate Big Set and Dogwood Blossoms Set.
The congratulations letters were die cut but dont know who is
the maker. The big peachy blossom is a My Favorite Things
with some flower soft for the center. The tag is a
Spellbinder scalloped circle and the flower is a p
rovocraft die. I dyed some ribbon to match
and there you are a quick gift bag.

Who doesnt need gifts bags so hop on over and join the Challenge this week, looking forward to seeing you there!

Winner will take home this Set.

Tutorial Time at Speedy TV Challenge

Happy Friday to you all!

Today our TTSTV challenge is to use old jewelry parts
. I really had to do some searching on this one!I was bound and determined to find
some watch or clock parts and it was harder than I had anticipated!. I used the Spellbinder
Gear dies to cut out some chipboad and then  added lots of
different embossing powders to them for the
colors. The old watch I finally found had such small parts that I decided to
leave the whole thing in tact as it so happened to fit perfectly in the center
of the large gear. A sentiment from the Take the Time
Stamp Set completes the card.

As always my teammates have lots of Fabulous Inspiration for you so
stop by and visit them!
Anyone having trouble getting their Feedblitz? Life has been pretty
extreme lately and I have been depending on it
to let me know when you all post so I
can come comment but I just realized  several days ago Im
not getting any at all. I went to a few of your blogs to
try to resubscribe but it says Im already subscribing. Checked
spam and they are not in there Very Strange!!

Double Bugged??

Im SO happy to see Friday, And it's also time for
a new Challenge!
It is Lis's turn to do the tutorial at TTSTV!
Ive never heard of this technique called double bugged but its easy and gives
very nice results! You will want to give this one a try as it makes a great
background paper. I used  a rose embossed paper my friend sent me so
dont know the name of it. After coloring the raised areas I ran it thru
again using the Cuttlebug Wicker Weave folder Then added more
color to the raised texture. The image is from the Camellia Set.
After coloring I cut it out with a Spellbinder Label          and
foam dotted onto the base. I dyed ribbon to match for the
bow. This technique really makes a quick background,
stop over and view the Tutorial Here. All my teamies
used different folders for some really wonderful
inspiration for you all. Check out their
creations and give it a whirl.

Need a Congratulations card??

The  Monday Challenge at FOSTV is to make a Congratulations card.
Graduation is up coming for many schools and colleges right now so this is
the perfect time to get a jump on it.My dear friend  is retiring from
the California Highway Patrol so wanted mine to be more feminine!  I have used the
image from Glad Glads Set After coloring I cut a piece out with a Spellbinder
to create a frame for it. I embossed it with the SU Lattice embossing
folder. As you can see lots of layers stitched together for this one.

The sentiment is from the Be A Showoff Set. Stamped and cut out with
a Spellbinder label matted and a couple little jewels added
. Lastly I added the bow.

Tutorial Time with Speedy TV Challenge

Oh yes so happy its Friday , And that means a new Challenge at TTSTV.
Today it is to make a Flip card with a metal die. You can find the tutorial Here.
This took me a couple tries to get it lined up right.I used a Spellbinder die and
my flower image is from the Friends Set.
This card has lots going on. The flipped back part was embossed with a dotted swiss.
All the edges were distressed. The sentiment was punched with a Marvy punch.
The green dotted boder is made with a Spellbinder die. The light reflecting make the
paper look so pale but it really does match the green.
The butterfly is a Cherry Lynn die.
On the inside I stamped another image from the Friends Set and colored it
very lightly then embossed with the dotted swiss. Stitching and a few different sentiments.
I love the be wild and be free from the
Set called the same. I think many times we get to encumbered with life and trying
to please others and forget to be ourselves so
I like to use these fun phrases.

Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!
