New Saturday Challenge

Good Morning Friends!! Today at Speedy TV and Friends

we are challenging you to Doodle a Frame.
I have used the Hydrangea Image and taken a little liberty with it.
I've never seen a peach colored Hydrangea but you are seeing one now!
I used water color pencils and Copics to color the image.
I have used a older scrap of Pink Paislee dp and a piece of
some very cool recycled cardboard for a
border. I wanted my frame to have a more vintage look
that blended in with the dp instead of being bold. For that look
I doodled with a Stampin Up Soft Suede marker instead of black.
A little stitching for embellishment and the Sentiment is
from the      Set  with a bit of doodling on it also.
This is such a fun and easy  Challenge I hope you
all will hop on over and join us this week!!
Also all my teamies did different things with this
Challenge so you can check out all their fabulous creations
to give you a little extra inspiration.

Happy Tuesday!!

It's that time again...Tuesday Throwdown Challenge.
The Theme is Christmas in July SO you can get a head start this year!!
I haven't participated for a couple weeks because my printer died, but Yippe, looks
like a friend has got it revived!! Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and my image is
Ava Mistletoe Angel! After coloring I cut her out and attached to an embossed oval.
Some stitching, string and a bell for a little embellishment. The snowflake to go
with the dp and a quick sentiment for a fast Christmas card. My first for the
year, at least Im ahead of last year lol!!

Stop over and join us in this weeks Challenge

Whats your favorite color??

All you need to join the Challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends
this week is a piece of colored paper and some white embossing powder!!
Additionally you are to high light your image. I have chosen to use a piece of
maroon paper with my white powder. MY image is from the  Coneflower Set. After
embossing the flowers I used the bleach method to high light my image.
Interestingly as you can see from the close up above it turned it
an unexpected pale green!  A thin white mate to separate it
from the base. The borders were cut with the
Spellbinder border die and stitched on. The center  was dry
embossed with the SU Square Lattice folder. The sentiment is
from the Friends Set was punched out with a
Marvy circle and foam dotted on.
Its quick and easy so join us this week!!

Happy 4th of July to my US Friends!

Today starts a new Challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends
The Challenge is to Cut Away Embossing and  no I didnt make a Patriotic card today,
When making the card I forgot it was the fourth! For this challenge I used the trellis
embossing folder and used a Spellbinder Edgeability Die to make my cut aways. The flowers are individual blossoms from the Hydrangea Set.First the Sentiment from the
Rose Set was stamped onto the base then the embossed pieces were added.
Next a little cheesecloth was added then the  blossoms and leaves were layered on top.
Lastly the purple border was cut with two of the Spellbinder Edgeabilities and stitched on.
A fun card with all kinds of possibilities. We would be so happy to have
you stop by and join the fun this week.
My teammates have lots of pretty inspiration for you too!!
