Its Tuesday Throwdown today! We want to see mosaics this week and the team has some fabulous examples for you so hop on over to check them out. This is my first time doing a mosaic and it was fun. I used this wonderful dragon stamp from Kim at Sherrod Studio and the stones on the castle are my mosaic pieces. The easel card was made with a dark base then cut lots of irregular pieces from some textured grey cardstock and attached them to the base which I also used for the windows. The door was colored to look like wood and the roof for the towers is also a textured cardstock. Stitched the dp onto the base, attached some looped ribbon and a button for the stop. The dragon was watercolored, cut out and attached. Be sure to stop by and join us this week. Looking forward to seeing all of your creations. This is also for the following challenges:
Tuesday Taggers: Make a scene
Squigglefly: Open
Wee Memories: Free for all

  6. WOW! Davi,

This is so cleaver and cute! At first I thought it would be a boys BD card, but your saying made it for all us oldies but goodies who drag around so much. Great idea and card. Could also use a princess in the window some where. Heehee! Love it.
