Mona's Color Challenge is great for all kinds of occasions including Valentines. My card is a very simple one. Have you seen the very fun zipper flowers that Melissa Phillips makes?? Of course I could never match her fabulous shabby vintage style that makes them look so beautiful but I decided to give this one a try. Many years ago when I didn't have work and sewed all the time I bought a BIG box of zippers from a fabric store close out. Not one turquoise zippers but found a great red one for my flower with the turquoise button center. Used the other piece to sew across the card. OMG, no..I haven't heard of the zipper flowers. I have to check this out. Your card is just soooooo pretty. I love the colors and stitching. And, that zipper flower has me really wanting to know more.
Wowzer Davi this is awesome, I love the clean and simple style so much and this is excellent. The colours and that zipper flower looks amazing I have never heard of this type of flower before but tell you what it is a real beauty.
