I have a couple cards made with the new Heart Song Digis. Leah and her husband are now in the process of adopting another son from Ethiopia. Leah illustrated for Sweet n Sassy but now decided to open her own digi store to help with the costs. She has lots of wonderful digital images and is adding more. If you don't like coloring she will also be offering some precolored ones. Take time to visit the Inspirational Blog and her online Store Here.
I made my first Valentine with non traditional colors and the Heart Song Image called Ana and Flowers. I water colored it and then cut out with a Spellbinder Label 16. The dots were made with dimensional paint and then mounted on the two layers of aquas. The dp was water colored and stamped with the little heart background then stitched around. The sentiment was cut out with the Spellbinder scalloped over and foam mounted.\
Pennys Paper Crafty: Hearts a flutter
Prarie Fairy Friday: For a Sweetheart
Fussy & Fancy: Valentines...no red or pink
Simply Create: Give your heart Away
The Crafty Purple Frog: Valentines Day/Romance
Stamp Insanity: A non traditional Valentine card
My second card uses the Cardinal in a Tree. I found this scrap of yellow plaid and thought it would be perfect with my little cardinal. I used a decorative stitch to attach it. The image is water colored and cut out with a Spellbinder scalloped oval and matted on a yellow ran thru the dotted swiss folder. The sentiment in cut out with a Spellbinder label 14 and attached with some raffia.
Charisma Cardz: No embellies
