PIXIE COTTAGE CHALLENGE & PASSIONATELY ARTISTIC

My first post is for The Pixie Cottage. As usual you can choose to use the theme and/or the sketch. The theme is my very favorite FLOWERS! I started with a pretty piece of My
Minds Eye dp and decided to go with coral and black. Stitched the dp to the black and coral.
My chic little image is one of the South End Girls Collection found at
Michelle's Scrapbooking and More.

She is water colored, cut out with a Spellbinder label and foam dotted on. I made a couple flowers from some scrim and dyed them the cor
al color. While digging in one of my button
boxes I found these lovely taupe pearl buttons to match the dp for centers.

Cut and distressed a
few leaves to go with the flowers. The ribbon was dyed with some tea and made into
a scrunchy bow. Stickles
were used
to cover the chipboard flourish. I double punched
the black flower border and added coral centers. After I punched the bottom border I
added the stickes centers.

Supplies used: My Minds Eye, SU & Bazzill papers,
MS hydrangea punch, Stickles, misc buttons, seam
binding and Spellbinders Label#14and SU oval punch

Entering Challenges:
Spoon Full of Sugar: Birthday
Anything Goes: Birthday

My Second post today is for Pasionately Artistic....our theme today is Back to School.
I decided to do a teacher gift set. Cut and made a little tent fold with decorative flap to
hold the candies. Cut a small window and framed it with some school print dp, faux stitched
and filled the little bag with candies
then tied shut with the button.

The card is simple
with the dp stitched on and the same label used to make the sentiment.
Finished with a yellow bow and
viola done :)

DCWV & SU papers, misc button and ribbon,
sentiment, cellophane bag and candies, Marvy
tag punch and Spellbinder Label#21 & 16.

Entering Challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion: Back to School
Hooked on Craft: Sweet Treats
Kaboodle Doodles: Primary Colors
Make it Monday: Anything goes
