Scroll down for the Passionately Artistic post. Today at the Pixie Cottage week
have a sketch or the theme is Holiday Decor.

I made a Christmas wreath with a bazillion fan medallions, well at least it felt as if I made a bazillion of them! I also made a few of the little folded tube ornaments. While taking care of my mother this holiday week I took lots of strips of paper and made medallions in my spare time. I didn't give much thought to assembly, should have made them smaller. You know the good old hindsight deal lol!Using several different papers by Bo Bunny, Stampin Up and Authentique. Lots of Stickles and a few buttons. My sweet little water colored image is one of the new Pixie Cottage stamps, Not even a mouse found at Michelle's Scrapbooking & More. This will be a little gift to cheer my sweet mom up. The team has some great inspiration for you so stop by.

Passionately Artistic

Passionately Artistic is gearing up for the Christmas holidays. Be sure to stop by and join the linking party this week. As you can see the card is embossed with the snowflake embossing folder, and stitched onto the base. Stickle dots were added to the stars and then they were stacked using foam dots. A webbed ribbon and the sentiment added for a very simple card.

Entering Challenges:
Sassy Cheryl's Digi: Winter
Simon Says Stamp and Show: Stars
Inky Impressions: Peppermint twist

I think this is a wonderful Christmas star. What a great idea stacking the cuts for dimension. You scored big with that one! I love the simplicity of the design and find the card restful and sweet to look at. It's wonderful and that ribbon makes it POP!

Love and blessings, Martha

Two postings in one...two comments!

This wreath is wonderful. I know it will cheer your mom and give you both a remembrance of this recovery time together. I love that Cheery Lynn die in the middle. It is spectacular and lacy. It shows up with the white wall behind as does the hole wreath. Great idea.

Love and blessings to you and Mom. Hope she is feeling much better.

Oh my good grief Davi, how did I miss this absolute stunner?! It sure looks like a bazillion fans lol, how absolutely gorgeous! I love the festive colours, it must have taken you a very long time to construct - it took me nearly 4 hours to construct a banner at the weekend, I enjoyed it but so time consuming! I just love this! A real work of art. Xxx
