Heart Song Inspiration Challenge

Happy Monday to you all! A new Heart Song Challenge today and for our
challenge this week your choice is buttons/ brads.
The image on my card is Stitched with Love
found at Leah's Heart Song Shop.

A few days before Christmas a dear friend died unexpectedly. For quite a few years a group of us rode together, went to church together and hung out. In the past few years they have all retired and moved away to be closer to family, so we dont see each other to often. Everyone came back Saturday to attend the Memorial Service for Barbara. One of those bitter sweet times. Great to see friends but also missing one. Lots of sharing of pictures and memories. So all that to say the reason I made two of these cards for Barbara's daughter and for her brother Mike and wife. We all used to spend lots of fun times at their home. One bright spot in it all is that we were assured that she is now at rest dwelling in Heaven with our blessed savior.

I couldn't find the right paper so finally took a print and
changed it to meet my needs with some stamps and paint. I chose this image
because the dot filled heart reminded me of all of us and the loving friendships
we had formed. The image was water colored and
cut out to mount on the doily. A little button center for the flower and
on the bow to go with the challenge. The simple sentiment says it all.
