Hope your weekend was a good one. I was trying to
get my gardens all ready for the higher temps. Summer
is really here now its going to be at least 113 for the week.
Our theme this week is a most appropriate one...summer.
One of the new sets from
Where better place to be in the summer than at the beach!
After water coloring this image I stitched onto the blue, trying
to keep it light and beachy in color. A piece of a potato
bag made a good net with a little float tied on.
While my daughter was living on a island in Puget Sound
my grandson and I picked up these tiny shells on the
beach. Made the card a extra special because
we made great memories hunting the beaches for treasures!

Looks like we have the same idea about stamps that we used. I almost placed small shells collected on Captiva Island on my card but forgot to...had them out to use. Love your card!!
This is lovely! The potato bag remind me so much of fishing net, which I'm sure was the point! Fabulous card!
