TUTORIAL TIME WITH SPEEDY TV #40

Once again my favorite day...Happy Friday!! Surgery day so its always a long one
but then I'm free for the weekend if I don't melt. It was 94 degrees
yesterday and supposed to be 97 today. I think we
are in for one long hot summer when its that hot this early!!
Today TTSTV challenge is to make a snack or treat topper.

Tammylee has put together a quick how to tutorial here.
I am making some little Easter treat bags
for my grandchildren and girls so this was perfect timing!

Chase my oldest grandson loves to fish
so I made a fishing theme topper and filled it with sour gummy worms
The fish and pole is from the
On The Fly set .I used a MFT looped die to finish the edge and tied shut with string. His sister Skylar is my only granddaughter so I made hers girly using the sweet little Bunny from the brand new release Garden Bunny. I used a zigzag punch to make the edge for hers and ties shut with a piece for dyed ribbon. She likes M&Ms.

My second oldest grandson like trucks
so I used the fun truck and tiremark image from the Big Boys Toys set. The edging is the left over from a MFT star die.Thought it was fun with the image. Thisone is tied shut with some sisal rope. Alec does not like chocolate so he got skittles. My youngest grandson loves to fish with his dad and so he also got a fishing theme using the On The Fly set again but using the little boat image, then using a left over from the MFT looped die for the border. His is tied shut with string. Worms for him.

My daughters like my homemade soap,
and would rather have that than candy.
My oldest, Kelci is a horsewoman who rides like the wind so I used the boots from the Cowgirls Rule set for hers. I used a PTI scalloped die for her border and tied shut with a sisal string.
My youngest, Rebekah likes flowers so I used the Sending Happy Thoughts
rose and the hummer is from the Hum
Along set for hers I tied hers shut with some fun polka dotted ribbon.
Both the SIL are on short deployments so they have to wait for theirs.

My teammates used their topped bags
for all kinds of fun things. Be sure to stop by
and see all their GREAT ideas!

This weeks winner will take home the
Wild and Free set ...

Davi,
Your bags are absolutely darling - each and every one! My DH is such a fisherman - that I'll have to make him a treat bag up - they are all so cute!

Davi, these bags are so awesome and wonderfully made for each person. They are sure to love them. I saw you mentioned one of your grandsons doesn't like chocolate. Why can't that be me? LOL
