Passionately Artistic

We are looking for lace here at Passionately Artistic this week. Stop by and join us.

I t was pretty slim pickings in the trim box. This was my only piece of lace trim. I would have liked to make a lace flower but no such luck :) The periwinkle paper was embossed, the bottom edge punched and then and stitched on. First I stamped a little flower image lightly on the paper then stamped the sentiment over them.Next I cut the scripture out with a Spellbinder label #20. Used some salvaged white corregated paper for the flower and added a little tulle in with it. Made a couple leaves and a bow and added the pearl flourish.

Entering Challenges:
Stampin' Sisters in Christ: No dp must start with solid paper
Clear it Out: Ribbon/trim
Papertake Weekly: Anything goes
Stamp with Fun: Ribbon and lace
Stamping Scrapping: Anything goes
The Crafty Pad: Pearls and Swirls

Davi, it's a beautiful card. The colors are just lovely and so is your flower. The Spellbinder is perfect for the scripture. I think I really need that die.

Davi,

I just sent you an envie with some laces!!! Maybe it will get there in time to make a second card although this one is totally gorgeous! I love the MS punched edge, the trim, the flower you created out of card board and the new Labels 20 is a great shape for that wonderful Bible verse!

Love and blessings, Martha

Beautiful card Davi. The flower is gorgeous, as are the lace and your colors.

Here's how to post something on your sidebar. Go to my site for the free candy and right click on the image. Then click on "save picture as" and put it where you want. I sometimes use my desktop. Then go back to your blog and go to Design. In the "Design" tab go down and click on "add a picture" You add the picture here; and then you need to use the address to my candy. (You can right click on the address and save, then right click and copy; or type in the complete address (just like you do when you're adding one of your cards to a challenge). And you're done. I put it where I want it on the sidebar and save it at this point.

I hope this helps, and is not too confusing. Contact me again, if something isn't clear at texastransplant69 @ yahoo.com (you wouldn't use the spaces).

Hugs, dj1952
