I made a very simple card with a little of both. I love these poppies, one of the newer botanicals at Heart Song Digis. They are water colored a traditional red faux stitched and matted. The flower was made with several layers of some recycled packing paper with a red and black center. I drew water colored and cut out the leaves. The edge is a MS botanial punch. The sentiment is punched out with a SU punch and mounted on the Spellbinder scalloped oval. Some faux stitching finished it off.

These poppies look so real; you colored them so beautiful. And i love that flower made of packaging paper. It's such a lovely combo with the red poppies and the kraft background.

Ooh, those poppies are gorgeous. And, I am really wanting to try to make one of those flowers. I think I saw a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers to do it. What a fab job you did.
